Expanded to four sessions in recent years to meet increasing market demands, the Kentucky October Yearling sale’s premium results on the racetrack continue to further the sale’s reputation in the industry. Nationally, it is a top-ranked yearling sale by percentage of Grade 1 winners and graded stakes winners sold, including recent Grade 1 winning graduates Annals of Time, British Idiom, Gretzky the Great, Mongolian Groom, Next Shares, and Simply Ravishing, as well as back-to-back Kentucky Derby (G1) winners Big Brown and Mine That Bird.
ITOBA Fall Mixed Sale
The Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (ITOBA) will host its annual Fall Mixed Sale on October 16, 2021, starting at 1 pm EDT. The sale will be located in the receiving barn at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in Shelbyville. Produced by Duane Swingley Auctioneers, LLC.

Keeneland announced that 4,034 yearlings (including 12 registered Indiana-breds) have been cataloged for the 78th annual Keeneland September Yearling Sale to be held over 11 sessions from Sept. 13-24.
